The Net says: "Britain braced for Polish Invasion" Headline regarding a lorry load of Tyskie beer in The Telegraph 2007. Interestingly, it has also become one of the top selling beers in Great Britain due to the recent swarm of Polish people immigrating to that country.
Type: Pale lager 5% ABV.
Flavour: With a pleasant aroma of hops, caramel and a hint of fruit, it gives a balanced sweetness and bitterness based on its unchanged historic recipe.
Fact: Its name comes from the brewery located in the Upper Silesia town of Tychy. Tyskie brewery was founded in Poland in 1629 and is the only Polish brewery with continuous production for over 375 years. In 2002, Tyskie Gronie won The Brewing Industry International Awards, receiving the two most prestigious awards - Gold Medal and Grand Prix.
