During my research of the beer can, the homeless stereotype of a strong drinking alcoholic was unavoidable. I discovered discarded cans of strong alcohol in known homeless areas and nearby shelters. Therefore, I decided to investigate further collate some of my findings into a spreadsheet and then visualised the data as interactive graphs.
Note: When deaths are registered, there is no specific way to record whether the deceased was homeless. Local registrars do not follow any consistent practice in recording deaths of homeless people.
