The Net Says: | Carling always seems like a good idea at first. Nearly always £1 cheaper than the alternatives, it's money in the bank. This happiness is immediately demolished once you take that first sip. |
Type: | Pale lager 4% ABV |
Flavour: | Not a lot in my opinion but some of my friends and family manage to drink it. |
Fact: | Originally founded by Thomas Carling in London, Ontario, Canada, in 1840. Now part of Molson Coors Brewing Company. The beer was parodied by South African T-shirt company Laughitoff. The slogan was changed to "Black Labour, White Guilt", which led to an unsuccessful trademark infringement lawsuit from SABMiller. |
