I (Ashley) reclaimed the metal tubing from scrap roll cages, then selected and cut sections I liked the shape of and added additional bends to get the flowing organic shape I was after. Also, as I cleaned the tubing up I really liked the polish and grind marks so continued it across the entire chair and to preserve this finish I have used a clear metal sealer and lacquer. The metal balls welded on the feet and arms are from a second hand French boule set (otherwise known as pétanque).
