Making sense of madness

As an artist I am driven to document my experience of Covid 19, both negative and positive. To explore the human condition and a sustainable way of living both mentally and physically. The pleasure at seeing nature reclaiming the environment and of clean clear skies across the world. Countered, by the feeling of frustration and helplessness, as lockdown eased and so many people returned to a non-sustainable way of living.

Moreover, the stark difference between people who risk their lives for others and selfishness of others who ignore the guidelines or just throw their, potentially infected masks, into the street. And, the hypocrisy of some politicians!

This is all mixed up with memories of; isolation, Zoom parties, better times, endless graphs and facts, lost or absent friends and family, announcements of deaths, and possible plans for when it is all over.
